  Lonnie Hutchinson
Ngai Tahu / Samoan /multimedia and performance artist.
Spatial consideration and the formal qualities of materials are primary to Lonnie’s practice as a performance and conceptual artist. in this she consciously guides the propeoceptive experience of the viewer as a means of addressing issues in her work. Since moving to Lyttelton, Lonnie has been inspired by the local landscape and the way it relates to her dual heritage and sense of spiritual belonging.
